Welcome to Wilder's 5th Grade Recess Art Club

'A Year of Taking Your Art Skills to the Next Level!' 

We are looking forward to working with your student as we focus on building art skills and expanding art knowledge. The class will include a 16-week curriculum, focusing on artist studies and classical artist skills; culminating in a final project to be specially displayed during the annual Wilder Art Night & Auction. Art Club members will also have a special table at Art Night where they will lead a small, hands-on project!

These classes will take place during your child’s lunch and lunch recess time for that day, 12:10pm – 1:10pm, so please have your students bring a brown bag lunch on all art club dates. Each class will build on the last lesson, so please do your best to attend ALL sessions! There is a one-time $15.00 fee to cover the cost of a sketch book, final piece mounting, and other materials.

We are very excited to offer this program to committed 5th Grade students who are ready to take the next step with their artistic talents.
